Yggdrasyl Updated to 1.7.4

Postby Inscrutable » Thu Dec 26, 2013 9:51 pm

Hey folks, this forum has been getting dusty.

I have updated my pet server Yggdrasyl to minecraft 1.7.4, with Spigot dev builds
and many of the usual plugins working as they should. Many dev builds are in use so
expect minor hiccups, but it has been very stable the last few days despite what I
have thrown at it (eg. the new TC Testworld, Kaleides).

Dynmap is also up and running using the new Misa texture pack on some worlds.
(If that sucks, I'm open to recommendations).

Maybe we will build the other half of Arboria, and I will try to resurrect Fragilus from
the darkness sometime by new year (after the Sirius closing party, if there is one).

Yggdrasyl is now compatible with Minecraft 1.7.10 (and all prior 1.7.X builds, thanks to Spigot magic).

This is also the VERY LAST BUKKIT SERVER We will be running - as Bukkit is Dead.
1.7.10 is the last version of MC to support Bukkit plugins. It will be staying for awhile.

Things will stay with 1.7.10 until the new Modding API, Sponge, can be trialled.
Which will involve a whole new regime of plugins, worlds, and testing.
It will also be MC-Forge compatible, if it happens.
